iPhone Marketing Strategy

Apple has always been very creative and cutting edge when it comes to marketing to their audiences. So when they developed the iPhone their strategy did not change; it only got stronger. The iPhone marketing strategy first started out with only a few commercials. The 1st one was about how their iPhone was their new iPod and how it would change cell phones the same way the iPod has changed portable music players.

The iPhone marketing strategy is all about hyping up their consumers. Apple does this by releasing a few videos on their websites and vague press releases describing only a few things about the product at a time. It also seems that Apple is pleased about the fact of these “rumors” being spread about their products. Later they would start to individually market certain things about the iPhone. The main one being iPhone applications. These apps are advertised all over their TV ads as well as their website.
