Retail Strategy In Marketing Concept

The retail strategy in marketing concept has plenty of different choices to work with. The retail strategy can be based upon anything from demographics to super markets. All need to be taken into account when figuring out the best retail strategy for the company.

Department stores are larger stores with a gigantic assortment of goods hard or soft. These stores offer great customer service usually and a wide variety of categories at reasonable prices. There are also discount stores which offer a ton of items for a very cheap cost. In discount stores the brands or products tend to be the copy cat items or an out of date style/ technology. When studying a demographic store it is easily noticeable they are aiming towards a particular type or class of people. High end retailers use this concept when attempting to sell their merchandise. Mom and pop stores try to build up a loyal customer fan base by connecting with them personally.
